SERVICES OVERVIEW
Dave Schmitt Engineering provides the following services:
Due-Diligence Analysis & Reports – This is a valuable service for the majority of clients as we research and analyze the potential constraints to be imposed on private property. These reports will include everything from local planning and zoning requirements to environmental and fiscal impacts.
Planning Services – We offer our clients both comprehensive and current planning services as required by numerous regulatory agencies and governmental jurisdictions. These services include due diligence reports, annexations, comprehensive plan amendments, rezonings, DRI’s, concurrency management, impact fees and the negotiation of joint planning agreements.
Project Management – This service is to monitor the project for clients from the planning phase through design, permitting and construction to ensure the finished project is of the highest quality.
Drainage & Utility Studies – We prepare and/or review drainage and utility master systems for developments and evaluate them for design efficiency. This includes getting analyses through the required approval processes.
Preliminary Engineering – This is an integral part of any project as preliminary design and engineering will be done in order to produce a preliminary cost estimate for the project that the client can then utilize for its proforma.
Engineering Design & Plans – This is the final design stage of the project along with the preparation of final permit drawings for the client. This includes all necessary drawings and calculations required for permitting and construction of the project.
Permitting – This is critical in getting projects started in a timely manner. This is the stage where all the approvals are obtained from local municipalities, water management districts, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Environmental Protection, etc.
Construction Management – This service is to monitor the project for clients from the pre-construction phase through all construction phases to ensure schedules and regulatory requirements are met, as well as working with all agencies on final acceptance.
